Today, I had a medical issue that I didnt believe could wait. I monitored the website, which says that the wait time is regularly updated.
Shortly after 6 pm, the wait time for urgent care was 45 minutes. I headed over and arrived at 6:30 believing I would be seen by 7:15. The Plymouth clinic did not close until 8:00. Before we even got to the check in, the woman behind the desk declined to check us in, saying we needed to leave because they are filled to capacity.
As a longtime patient of yours, being 65 and diabetic this visit is concerning. I was denied medical attention without even asking what my concern was.
This woman escorted us to the door and locked it behind us. It was also disappointing to monitor the website and the estimated wait time, which now appears to be inaccurate or misleading information.
- Quality of care providers
- New appt wait time 3-4 months
- Customer service
- Trying to communicate with the organization
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

Very long wait for a phone call to be answered.
On 10/3/21 I just wanted to speak to someone about my blood pressure.I tried a virtual visit and the appointment times were to far out. I called the appointment line.
3 times it said there.were to many calls and to try later. I finally get on the line and the call would be answered in the order it was received.I suppose I could have left a number and they would have called back. I didnt feel well and thought I would stay on the line. 45 minutes later my call was answered and I was transferred to the nurse.
That is all I wanted. 45 minutes is to long to wait when you dont feel well. The nurse was very helpful. I was told to get in my car and go to the ER.
The care I received at Methodist Hospital was excellent. The nurse, doctor, lab, ekg tech were. great. I received IV meds.
I am a nurse and I hope I would never treat my patients this way. There has to be a more efficient way to get calls answered or a easier way to speak to the nurse. This computer stuff does not make it easier.
This must overwhelm the elderly people that are not computer literate. Thank you for listening.
User's recommendation: Hire more people to answer phones. Easier way to contact the nurse or doctor. Maybe.a text or email or a direct line then to the department you want to speak to.
Botched up medical procedure
User's recommendation: Go elsewhere.

Next time check the nameless faceless recommendations of the computer and contact your provider directly. You must also understand the workings of your insurance policy. But also be aware that diabetes specialists often start ramping up the frequency of patient visits because they are ....
profitable ....
my endocrinologist office is a real pain acting under the guise of patient benefit. Hypocritical at best, usurious greed at worst.
